Vegetation Mapping

Aztec Ruins

We have recently completed a vegetation map of Aztec Ruins National Monument. This small NPS unit lies at the interface of juniper-piņon woodland and amazing shrub communities.  The full citation is:

Mesa Verde

Mesa Verde National Park in southwestern Colorado has been the site of many recent studies of fire history, post-fire succession, and post beetle-kill succession.  We have also recently completed a vegetation map as part of the NPS Inventory and Mapping Project.  The full citation for this work follows:
